A Support Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting participants to navigate the NDIS system, understand their NDIS plans, connect into the broader system of services and build their capacity to direct their supports independently over time.
About this role:
As a Support Coordinator, your key role is to support NDIS participants (Living My Way Members) by monitoring and coordinating their plans. You will support our Members by helping them understand and implement their NDIS plan as well as link them to the community, mainstream and other services to enhance their quality of life.
This is a full-time role based in Menai – we embrace working from home arrangements and have developed a hybrid model to enable both in-office and remote working.
Your experience:
You will have a relevant qualification and/or experience working within the disability sector and;
- Experience in reading, understanding and implementing NDIS plans
- Experience in connecting members to services under a member direct care model
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service
- Current driver's license and willingness to travel to members where required
- Previous experience in a billable environment is highly desirable
