Business Development – Community Services

Business Development – Community Sector | Hybrid Role

Build partnerships. Create opportunities. Make a difference.

Are you a confident relationship builder with experience in business development, partnerships or stakeholder engagement?

Do you understand the NDIS and enjoy connecting people, organisations and opportunities?

Living My Way is looking for a Business Development professional to build referral networks, develop new opportunities and help grow our services across Greater Sydney.

This is a hands-on, relationship-led role where you'll build connections across the disability, health and community sectors and help more people with disability access the supports that are right for them.

You'll work closely with our Growth & Engagement team and a range of external stakeholders to strengthen relationships, generate opportunities and support sustainable growth.

 

About the role

Reporting to the Growth & Engagement Manager, you'll help drive growth across our Support Coordination, Plan Management and Supported Self-Management services.

You'll spend your time building relationships, identifying opportunities and connecting with people and organisations across the disability, health and community sectors.

What you'll be doing:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and referral pathways across Greater Sydney.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, health professionals, community organisations and other key stakeholders.
  • Generate and nurture leads through networking, presentations, events and direct stakeholder engagement.
  • Represent LMW at industry events, community forums and networking opportunities.
  • Work with internal teams to support prospective Participants through referral and onboarding, creating a positive customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to growth, referral and conversion targets.
  • Keep up to date with market trends, emerging opportunities and changing community needs.

 

About you

You're someone who enjoys meeting people, building genuine relationships and finding opportunities to make things happen.

You will also bring:

  • Experience in business development, sales, partnerships, stakeholder engagement ora similar relationship-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of NDIS and hands-on experience working within the NDIS environment.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships and develop referral opportunities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • A proactive and results-focused approach, with the ability to work independently.
  • Good organisational and relationship management skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office 365
  • Ability and willingness to travel to multiple regional locations

Experience working in the disability, health, care or NFP sectors will be highly regarded.
