About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Manager Finance & ICT, the Finance Manager is responsible for financial controllership across Living My Way, ensuring strong financial governance, reporting integrity, compliance, and effective internal controls.
You will lead core accounting and finance operations, oversee month-end close and statutory reporting, strengthen revenue assurance processes, and partner across the organisation to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading month-end close and delivery of accurate management reporting
- Maintaining balance sheet integrity and strong financial controls
- Overseeing statutory compliance, audit readiness and external audit coordination
- Managing revenue assurance across NDIS, DSOA, icare and other funding streams
- Identifying revenue leakage, control gaps and process improvement opportunities
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis
- Driving finance process improvements, automation and system efficiencies
- Maintaining financial data integrity across finance systems and integrations
- Leading and developing the finance team through coaching and technical support
- Partnering with operational leaders to strengthen financial accountability and governance
About You
You are a detail-oriented and commercially minded finance leader with strong technical accounting expertise and experience operating in complex or regulated environments.
You are proactive, analytical and confident operating across both operational and strategic finance functions. You will also bring:
- CPA or CA qualification (essential)
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience leading finance functions and/or financial controllership responsibilities
- Strong experience in financial reporting, reconciliations and audit readiness
- Demonstrated experience managing complex revenue streams and financial controls
- Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and statutory compliance
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Advanced financial systems and Excel capability
- Experience within a government-funded, regulated, NFP or NDIS environment (highly regarded)
