Are you a curious and data-driven marketer who enjoys turning insights into positive outcomes?
We're looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist to support us in creating awareness of our services and growing our business so that we can support more people to live their life their way.
You’ll be part of our Customer Experience team, working closely with our Marketing and Communications Manager, you'll support go-to-market activity across various online and offline channels including Google Search, email, social media and our website. You'll also contribute to internal and external communications, events, social content, SEO-informed blogs, grant writing and campaigns — turning insights into action and engagement into measurable, positive outcomes.
This is a permanent part-time role, equivalent to 4 days per week, offering genuine flexibility in how you structure your hours. We value flexible working arrangements that support our people while meeting the needs of the role and the organisation. The role also offers hybrid working arrangements.

About the role
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering integrated marketing activities, including lead generation, content development, email communications, events, grant support and continuous improvement of our brand presence in the digital landscape.
This is a hands-on role that combines strategy, creativity and analytics. Your curiosity will support to identifying opportunities, developing marketing strategies and then rolling up your sleeves to put them into action. You'll also work closely with our external stakeholders like creative agencies and videographers to ensure content is aligned with our ideas and brand.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Deliver lead generation campaigns across online and offline channels.
- Work with our external agency to brief, review and edit creative outputs, ensuring it’s accurate, engaging and aligned with our marketing strategy.
- Create engaging and accessible content for websites, email and marketing campaigns.
- Support the Customer Experience team in event management, grant applications, internal and external communications, along with promotional campaigns.
- Deliver PPC, SEO and AI optimisation strategies like developing blogs and keywords and optimise website performance to improve digital visibility and generate leads.
- Use analytics and other data to measure results, identify opportunities and continually improve digital performance.
- Research market trends, competitor activity and audience behaviour to identify opportunities for organisational growth.
- Maintain accurate data while reporting on campaign performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen customer retention and lead conversion.
About you
You don't need to know everything —marketing, particularly digital, is changing too quickly for anyone to — but you do need to be someone who is curious, picks things up quickly, wants to continuously learn, asks questions and enjoys figuring things out.
You're comfortable working independently, taking ownership and getting stuck into the detail. You're also motivated by results: you like seeing an idea work, understanding why it worked (or didn't) and looking for ways to make it better. You'll bring a balance of strategic thinking and practical know-how, with the ability to move from developing a strategy to implementing it and measuring the outcome.
You will also bring:
- Experience in all aspects of marketing, including digital, lead generation and growth marketing, with a good understanding of how different growth channels work together
- Strong understanding of Google AdWords and/ or Google Analytics
- Training or experience in qualifications in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or a related discipline
- Exceptional writing skills for content creation, communication, editing and stakeholder engagement skills
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to measure results, analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- A willingness to learn, experiment and stay curious in a changing digital landscape
- Ability and willingness to travel when required
You'll stand out if you also have:
- Experience within the disability, community services or not-for-profit sector
- Knowledge of the NDIS or human services environment
- Experience with marketing analytics, customer journey optimisation and lead conversion
- A good eye for engaging visual and love storytelling
- CRM experience (Salesforce would be highly regarded)
- Email marketing experience (HubSpot would be highly regarded)
- CMS/ website management experience (Wordpress would be highly regarded)
- Canva experience
- AI optimisation training or experience
- Experience developing digital marketing strategies
- Experience creating accessible and inclusive digital content
