As a Member or participant of Living My Way, you have the right to:
- Safe and high-quality services and supports that respect your choices, capabilities, interests and personal circumstances, and promote your health, wellbeing and achievement of goals.
- Be treated fairly, with dignity and respect and without discrimination, violence, abuse, neglect or exploitation.
- Have your identity, culture, diversity, values and beliefs respected.
- Be actively involved in decisions relating to your services and supports.
- Have the people you want and trust included in planning and decision making.
- Be supported to make informed decisions about your life including where these choices may involve taking risks (dignity of risk).
- Privacy and confidentiality and have your personal information protected.
- Support to enable you to access the services you need, such as an advocate of your choosing.
- Be treated fairly, with dignity and respect and without discrimination, violence, abuse, neglect or exploitation.
